Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Task Cam app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1 License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2 Your content

You retain all rights to the photos, videos, and other content you capture or create with the app (“Your Content”). Your Content is stored locally on your device; we do not access, collect, or store it. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to capture it — including any rights of people or property that appear in it, and compliance with applicable laws where you record.

3 No cloud backup — keep your own copies

The app stores everything on your device only and provides no cloud backup. Your Content may be lost if your device is lost, damaged, or reset, if the app is uninstalled, or through auto-delete rules you configure. You are responsible for backing up Your Content — for example, by exporting items to the Files app or sharing them elsewhere.

4 Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, to capture content you are not permitted to capture, or to interfere with or attempt to circumvent the app’s intended operation.

5 Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will preserve Your Content.

6 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

7 Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will revise the effective date above when we make changes.
